Sample of our daily schedule

Daily Schedule              

• 7:00 - 8:30  Arrival: Welcome, Attendance, Health Check, Quiet Activities, Breakfast as needed (must arrive by 7:45 a.m. in order to eat breakfast at school)
  

• 8:30 - 9:00 Small group activity or craft
  

• 9:00 - 9:20 Large group: Morning Meeting (discuss day's  activities, share, sing, read)
  

• 9:20 - 9:40 Small groups: Teacher led projects and activities related to current thematic unit, basic skills, and Bible
  

• 9:40 - 10:00 Snack: wash hands, pray, eat
  

• 10:00 - 10:45 Choice time: Exploration of learning centers with theme-related materials.  Teacher observation and individual teacher interaction as needed
  

• 10:45 - 11:00 Large group: Share about centers, gather projects, pray, prepare for outside
  

• 11:00 - 11:45 Outdoor activities
  

• 11:45 - 12:00 Prepare for lunch
  

• 12:00 - 12:30 Lunch
  

• 12:30 - 1:00 Story Time/Quiet Book Time/Prepare for rest
  

• 1:00 - 3:00 Rest
  

• 3:00 - 3:30 Snack: wash hands, pray, eat
  

• 3:30 - 4:30 Outdoor play
  

• 4:30 - 5:00 Water break/Afternoon meeting: review day's activities, share, sing
  

• 5:00 - 6:00 Choice time: children select materials/activities
  

• 6:00 Center closes
